I am a candidate for the Common Pleas
Court in Sandusky County. The typical breakdown for filings of cases in
the Common Pleas Court is 40% Civil, 40% Domestic, and 20% Criminal. I
have over 35 years experience in all of these areas including 10 years
of experience as an Acting Judge in the Fremont Municipal Court; 14
years experience as an Assistant Prosecutor; and 8 years experience as
domestic and general mediator. A Judge needs to be fair and honest. A Judge needs to treat everyone with respect and courtesy. A Judge should make prompt decisions. I pledge to do all of these things and to make all of my decisions within 30 days after the case is submitted for decision. I appreciate and understand the responsibility of the position in that the decisions made may affect you, your family and our community. |
